- 3 General Position Summary The ideal candidate is very experienced with processing cannabis flowers and is able to trim a large volume per day while maintaining a high-quality standard of work.
The Trim Technician is expected to maintain trichome integrity, refrain from touching the flowers, and avoid cutting into or 'shaping' the flowers. The Trim Technician will be reporting to the Trim Manager and Trim Supervisor for all daily tasks. Responsibilities Harvest whole plants for processing with care
- following the SOP to maintain trichome integrity.
Transport harvested plants to dry rooms using Rapid Vayor system Tag/weight plants and log results for METRC adherence. Follow all SOPs, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties Maintain a clean and organized work environment Carefully hang plants on dry racking systems. Buck cannabis without touching or cutting into the flowers. Run various trim and sorting machines, maintaining quality standards and optimize machine capabilities Switch between bucking techniques based on planned extraction method/plant cultivar. Separate trim and stem waste from the desired flower. Grade and separate flower based on company definitions and standards Following strict biosecurity protocols, and maintaining the sanitation of tools and persons. Scouting for and reporting any pests or pathogens (powdery mildew, botrytis). Any other task assigned by the Harvest Manager or Harvest Supervisor Preferred Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a positive attitude and a willingness to be coached and learn. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Effective time-management For extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking through the workday. Must be able to exert well-paced mobility and perform repetitive tasks for up to 8 hours in length. Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality and accuracy. Be able to wear necessary uniform, gloves, hairnets(if required) and adhere to proper safety and sanitation protocols. Functional Acumen
