Job Description

Qualifications We have a strong preference for individuals who have a clear passion for cannabis or working with plants, and a demonstrated ability to thrive in high-volume, manual-labor settings that require long hours of focus General Duties Perform routine functions as scheduled and assigned by the Cultivation Manager. Take remedial action to eliminate pests and contaminants from cultivation areas. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and manufacturing best practices. Follow Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory requirements for cultivation. Maintain a positive work environment conducive to cooperation, trust, and respect. Responsible and accountable for tight quality control through every phase of production. Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of all work areas, including nurseries and storage areas. Store and transport products to designated areas as requested. Perform other related work as assigned by the Cultivation Manager.
Daily Tasks:
Inspect plants for mold, fungus, disease, bugs, or other pest and pathogen issues and report issues to the Cultivation Manager. Maintain quality control of all plants and production. Assist with plant propagation and inspection. Ensure proper care of plants through watering, feeding, monitoring the environment, as needed. Assist with and follow crop production plan, including established integrated pest management program (IPM). Develop proficiency and follow safety practices with the operation of equipment, fertigation systems, environmental controls, water distribution system, security system, etc., which includes performing preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting malfunctions, and assisting with repairs. Enter required plant information in METRC reliably and consistent with regulation standards. Collaboration Communicate discrepancies and issues to the Cultivation Manager. Support other cultivation technicians in completing all necessary functions of the operations. Keep all work areas tidy to promote a safe and functional work environment. Work with team members to develop, learn, and implement new systems. Requirements Able to stand for 8 hours a day Able to stand on ladders up to 5 ft in height Able to physically lift at least 50 lbs Per state law, must be at least 21 years of age Provide necessary documentation for employment in the
