We take pride in delivering high-quality landscape and irrigation services to our clients and are looking for an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. Position Summary The Irrigation Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining commercial irrigation systems. The ideal candidate has strong electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with wire tracing and controller programming, and can independently diagnose complex irrigation issues in the field. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair irrigation system failures and performance issues Perform electrical troubleshooting, including: Voltage testing Continuity testing Wire toning and wire tracing Solenoid diagnostics Locate and repair wire breaks, shorts, and valve issues Install, program, and troubleshoot irrigation controllers Install and repair valves, sprinklers, drip systems, and related components Conduct irrigation audits and system inspections Identify water waste and recommend system improvements Maintain accurate service records and reports Communicate professionally with clients and management Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently QualificationsRequired Minimum 3 years of commercial irrigation experience Strong knowledge of irrigation electrical systems Experience with: Wire tracing equipment, Toning equipment, Multimeters and voltage testing Controller installation and programming Ability to read irrigation plans and wiring diagrams Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Preferred Experience with: Central control systems Smart irrigation controllers Flow sensors and master valves Two-wire irrigation systems QWEL, IA, CLIA, or similar irrigation certifications What We Offer Competitive hourly pay: $30-$35/hr Company vehicle (for qualified candidates) Paid holidays and PTO Ongoing training and development opportunities Opportunity for advancement within a growing company How to Apply Submit your resume and a brief summary of your irrigation experience, including examples of electrical troubleshooting, wire tracing, and controller installation work.
