We're looking for an experienced IPM Technician who takes plant health seriously, thrives in a disciplined cultivation environment, and understands that attention to detail separates good grows from great ones. What You'll Do Execute integrated pest management (IPM) spray programs in a large-scale indoor cultivation facility Mix and apply pesticides, biological controls, and sanitation products with precision Follow pesticide labels, SOPs, and all state compliance requirements Monitor plant health and identify pest or disease issues early Maintain spray equipment and ensure proper calibration and cleanliness Keep accurate application records and documentation Work closely with cultivation leadership to maintain exceptional plant health What We're Looking For 2+ years of professional cannabis cultivation or commercial agriculture experience Experience mixing and applying concentrated pesticides or agricultural chemicals Familiarity with backpack sprayers and spray equipment maintenance Ability to read and follow pesticide labels, SDS documentation, and application rates Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Preferred Qualifications California Private Applicator Certificate (PAC) or willingness to obtain within 30 days Experience scouting and identifying common cannabis pests and diseases Knowledge of pesticide resistance management (IRAC/FRAC) Experience with beneficial insects and biological control programs Bilingual English/Spanish Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding position.
Candidates should be comfortable with:
Wearing full PPE, including a respirator, for extended periods Carrying and operating loaded backpack sprayers throughout the day Standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive movements during full shifts Passing a respirator medical evaluation and fit test before beginning work.
