Horticultural and Invertebrate Specialist

BioActive Supply is a hands-on, fast-growing business focused on naturalistic reptile and bioactive habitats. We hand-mix our own substrates, grow and source plants, and supply keepers with everything they need to build thriving ecosystems. This role is perfect for someone who likes working with plants, getting their hands dirty, like isopods, and being part of a small, growing team. This is a very active, hands-on role inside our greenhouse and workspace: Plant Care & Greenhouse Work Watering and daily plant care Monitoring for pests and plant health issues Repotting and propagating plants Maintaining clean, organized plant areas Inventory & Order Prep Managing plant stock and organization Pulling plants for online orders and reptile expos Helping prep plants for sale (labeling, staging, quality checks) BioActive & Colony Care Maintaining isopod colonies Feeding and maintaining feeder insect colonies Assisting with habitat materials when needed Light Marketing Support Assisting with plant photos/videos for social media Helping showcase new or interesting plants What We're Looking For Comfortable and knowledgable working with plants Detail-oriented Self-motivated — you don't need constant direction Able to stay organized in a fast-moving environment Comfortable with insects and bioactive systems Bonus if you're into reptiles and bioactive setups Why This Role is Different You'll work with a wide variety of plants and species You'll learn bioactive systems from the inside No two days are exactly the same You're part of a small team where your work actually matters Must be comfortable working in warm, humid greenhouse conditions and able to lift and move materials (often up to 40-50 lbs).

Pay:
