Locally owned, we are based in Sebastopol with additional facilities in Petaluma, Fulton, and Santa Rosa. We have an immediate need for a Plant Advisor with the following skills and abilities to join the team in our Nursery at our Sebastopol location. This is a full-time position (4-5 days per week) that directly reports to the Nursery Manager. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Excellent customer experience with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Strong background in horticulture.

Knowledge or willingness to learn:

organic fertilizer, pest and disease control, tools, and irrigation, so that you may best advise the public on best practices.

• Stocking, cleaning and organizing the nursery.
• Care and maintenance of plant materials.
• Receive and check-in merchandise from vendors.
• Accurately complete paperwork according to procedure.
• Assist other departments as requested. To be successful in this role, you will bring:
