Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled, motivated, and authoritative Cultivation Lead Tech to lead our floor team. This role requires an experienced professional with a keen eye for detail, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for driving accountability. You will work directly under the Cultivation Manager to oversee daily plant care, maximize crew efficiency, and ensure absolute compliance from clone to harvest.
Key Responsibilities Team Supervision:
Verify all cultivation staff are on site, clocked in, and working on assigned tasks; address attendance or performance gaps immediately.
Waste & Accountability Tracking:
Collect and track individual green waste data for each crew member; use data to drive accountability, identify training needs, and reduce overall waste.
Floor Presence & Guidance:
Maintain a visible, active Lead presence on the floor, providing real-time oversight and guidance during defoliation, harvest, trimming, and sanitation.
Inventory Control:
Monitor supply levels daily and ensure timely ordering of all cultivation materials to prevent operational downtime and control costs.
Compliance & SOP Enforcement:
Enforce strict sanitation protocols, safety standards, Integrated Pest Management (IPM) procedures, and company SOPs at all times.
Leadership Support:
Assist the Head Grower with daily reporting, shift communication, performance feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives. Lead by

Qualifications & Requirements Age & Legal:
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (per state law) and able to pass a Livescan background check. All candidates are subject to a non THC drug screening upon offer of employment
Experience:
2+ years of prior cannabis cultivation experience is mandatory (previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred).
Education:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
Strong leadership, data tracking capabilities, excellent communication, and a dependable work ethic.
Commute/Relocation:
Must be able to reliably commute to Woodlake, CA 93286, or relocate prior to starting work. Physical Demands Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time while supervising floor activities. Ability to perform repetitive movements (bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching). Ability to safely use tools, ladders, and lift/move a minimum of 30 pounds of equipment or trash. Specific vision requirements including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, plus depth perception to audit plant health and quality control.
Schedule & Benefits Schedule:
7am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime and weekends as needed.
