In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing commercial irrigation systems that keep landscapes healthy and vibrant. Your expertise will ensure efficient water usage and optimal landscape performance, contributing to the beauty and sustainability of our clients' outdoor spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize your technical skills, and make a tangible impact on landscape environments. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial irrigation systems, including sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, and piping. Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure irrigation systems operate efficiently and effectively. Diagnose issues with irrigation equipment and perform necessary repairs using hand tools and power tools. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate irrigation schedules and adjustments based on seasonal needs. Operate excavation equipment such as excavators when necessary for system installation or repairs. Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, and general horticultural activities. Maintain detailed records of work performed, system layouts, and parts used for each project. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation components and systems. Drivers liscense Experience with irrigation installation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques. Knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance, and general landscaping principles. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators. Familiarity with horticulture practices to support healthy plant growth alongside irrigation efforts. Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system diagnostics and repairs.
