We have five elevators: Flagler, Arriba, Genoa, Hugo, and Limon. We are willing to hire personnel to work out of any location and shift them around as necessary. YOUR DAY
As a Grain Elevator Operator, you manage the operations of the grain facility to optimize market share and enhance customer satisfaction. Your day begins with overseeing cleaning processes to maintain a professional appearance. You load and unload trucks, meticulously record inspections, and monitor temperature readings for quality control. Prioritizing customer service, you assist clients while balancing equipment maintenance and safety protocols, all within a collaborative team environment. Every task, from grading incoming grain to preparing railcars, supports the efficiency and reputation of Flagler Cooperative. REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME OUR GRAIN ELEVATOR OPERATOR
No prior training or experience necessary! Problem-solving and interpersonal skills Ability to accurately perform money, weight, measurement, volume, and distance calculations Ability to carry out written and oral instructions Ability to work well with others Ability to utilize distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, and work through interruptions Ability to work in an environment where you may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, noisy equipment, extreme temperatures, fumes, wetness/humidity, and chemicals Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work out of the following locations: Flagler, Arriba, Genoa, Hugo, or Limon when needed ARE YOU READY FOR THIS GREAT OPPORTUNITY?
