Job Description

Bednarik Sprinklers is an established Northern Colorado, family-owned landscape irrigation company that specializes in sprinkler system installation, repairs, and maintenance. We are excited to be celebrating over 20 years in business and are eager to add to our growing team this upcoming season. We are currently seeking a highly-motivated individual to play a pivotal role as a Seasonal Irrigation Technician. Our season runs from April through October. This is an exciting role which offers the opportunity to grow within the company while maintaining and developing skills needed to make a real, positive impact with our customer base, and your career. Pay is based on experience and ability to demonstrate irrigation knowledge.
Hiring the following positions:
Irrigation Service Technician (Residential and light commercial) Highlights of positions: 4-day work week• 48 hours of Paid flex/sick/vacation time off (accrual basis) Paid Holiday (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day) Weekly payroll (electronic deposit) April-October • Tech's are off Friday-Sunday. We do require an "on-call" shift one Friday per month. We require Fridays and Weekends during blowouts (6 weeks from late-September through early-November).
Job duties and responsibilities include:
Start/Tune/Audit sprinkler systems Diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation systems Install new and retrofit old systems Controller installation/programming Replace/adjust sprinkler heads and nozzles Repair lateral and mainline leaks Backflow testing, install & repair Valve & Manifold rebuilds Wire/Valve locating Low-Voltage electrical troubleshooting Winterize/Blowout sprinkler systems Ability to operate power tools and equipment Communication of site conditions to management Complete required daily digital paperwork Other duties assigned as needed
Qualifications:
2+ Years Irrigation Experience (required) Valid Colorado driver's license (required) Clean Motor Vehicle History (required) Ability to pass background check (required) Honest, strong work ethic, energetic Professional appearance Excellent customer service Ability to work independently, but also a team player Ability to use smart phone, tablets and
GPS Physical Requirements:
Ability to work outside in various weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, snow, and ice. Performing physical manual labor on a variety of slopes and surfaces. Keep up with the physical demands of a fast-paced work environment. Moderate physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance. This is a VERY physical job at times
