Farm/Ranch Hand

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Ranch Hand. As a Ranch Hand, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our ranch. This is a physically demanding position that requires a strong work ethic and a passion for working with animals and farm machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and administering medications
• Assist with breeding and birthing processes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of animal living areas
• Operate and maintain farm machinery, including tractors and power tools
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed
• Assist with growing and harvesting crops
• Perform heavy lifting tasks as required

Requirements:

• Experience in animal handling
• Basic math skills for measuring feed quantities and calculating medication dosages
• Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain farm machinery effectively
• Proficiency in using power tools for various tasks
• Ability to provide proper care for animals, including recognizing signs of illness or distress
• Perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Familiarity with farm machinery operation and maintenance procedures
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing responsibilities
