Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Ranch Hand this summer from July 1st to October 1st, and become a vital part of maintaining a thriving agricultural operation. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a variety of hands-on tasks, supporting farm maintenance, and equipment operation. We're looking for motivated individuals who are eager to contribute to a productive and well-managed ranch environment. This paid position provides a rewarding experience working with machinery, and the land during hay season. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment and farm machinery safely, including tractors, loaders, and other farm equipment Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge Support all hay harvesting tasks to promote crop growth and farm productivity Handle heavy lifting requirements for supplies, or equipment parts while maintaining safety standards Assist other team members in various tasks related to farming operations and land management Skills Mechanical knowledge including equipment repair, welding, and troubleshooting farm machinery Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment safely in agricultural settings Knowledge of irrigation systems, horticulture practices, greenhouse management, and growing techniques Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and general maintenance procedures on farm equipment Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor labor in varying weather conditions Basic math skills for measurements, inventory management, and record keeping This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across multiple facets of ranch operations while contributing to a productive agricultural environment. Pay:
$200.00 - $250.00 per day
