We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Grower to join our team. Logee's has been growing fruiting, rare and tropical plants since 1892 and this fourth-generation business is expanding and in need of an experienced grower. We offer a great environment of like-minded individuals who share their knowledge and enthusiasm for plants. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and a strong understanding of plant care and cultivation. This role involves working with tropical, fruiting and rare plants in greenhouse environments. The Grower will play a crucial role in bringing plants from propagations to finished quality plants which involves bug scouting, plant nutrition, and cultural care.
Responsibilities:
Cultivate and maintain plants in greenhouses ensuring optimal growth conditions. 1 night a week required spraying, suiting up in PPE Hand watering required for crops. 1 weekend day required. Monitor plant health, identifying any signs of disease or pest issues, and taking appropriate action. Maintain accurate records of plant growth, irrigation schedules, and other relevant data. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals while adhering to safety standards.Job Type:

- Strong mechanical knowledge for operating machinery and tools safely.
- Capability for heavy lifting which includes soil bags, sprayers, etc.
- Must be heat tolerant for tropical conditions
