Sullivan's Landscaping has Irrigation Service Technician positions available for experienced, dedicated, and reliable team members. You'll be responsible for diagnosing and monitoring irrigation systems to ensure the plant material is getting the proper amount of water. Description:
The Irrigation Tech is responsible for diagnosing and monitoring irrigation systems to ensure the plant material is getting the proper amount of water. The tech will start up the irrigation systems, and be able to do adjustments and winterizations.
Job Responsibilities:
Demonstrated skill and ability to servicing, repairing, and troubleshoot residential and commercial irrigation systems. Advanced knowledge of all associated tools involved in the irrigation industry. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Responsible to service new and existing irrigation systems to ensure they are working properly Ability to read blueprints to ensure proper locations of heads and zones. Install repair, and replace valves, timers, solenoids, main lines, laterals and sleeves Basic understanding of technology. Meet the clients on the job site. Must have a clear understanding of the philosophies by which the company operates, and the short-and long-term goals of the irrigation department Have a clear understanding of the hourly and cost budgets for each of the jobs. Monitor by reviewing job hours, reports, and job costs regularly and taking action as needed Maintain assigned vehicle and/or equipment in good working conditions

Experience and License Requirements:
Irrigation Service (Basic) Valid Driver's License (Required)
Irrigation Technician Qualifications :
All Qualifications required of an Irrigation Trainee. 1-2 Years of experience in the irrigation industry troubleshooting and mantaining systems. Ideally with experience in commercial properties operating on two-wire systems. Residential experience qualifies for this role, provided there is experience with major irrigation component brands.

First-Visit Fix Rate:
8595% of issues resolved without a return visit Mean Time to
Diagnose:
45 minutes to identify electrical/decoder faults Mean Time to
Repair:
2-3 hours to restore system operation
System Uptime:
9899% of zones operational during irrigation season
Repeat Repair Rate:
<5% of repairs recurring within 30 days Zones Serviced per
Day:
~40-80 zones inspected or serviced depending on site size
Billable Work:
~90%+ hours to be Billable work (Ex. 40 hour week 36 hours billable) Experience and License Requirements 1-2 Years of experience in the irrigation industry troubleshooting and maintaining systems Customer service experience: with homeowners or property managers DL Medical Card (optional) Experience in commercial properties operating on two-wire systems Irrigation controllers: valves, pumps, and backflow preventers Residential irrigation systems experience w/ irrigation component brands (Hunter, Rainbird, Toro) Technical or Trade School Degree (optional) Valid Driver's License
