The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens, lawns, and landscapes. The Irrigation Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to meet the needs of our clients. Duties Install and maintain various types of irrigation systems including drip, sprinkler, and underground systems. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues such as leaks or blockages. Perform repairs on irrigation components using hand tools and power tools as necessary. Dig trenches for irrigation lines and ensure proper placement for effective water flow. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall garden care plans. Provide recommendations for efficient water usage and system upgrades based on landscape needs. Maintain accurate records of service performed and materials used during each job. Experience Previous experience in landscape maintenance or lawn care is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to irrigation installation and repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Familiarity with various irrigation techniques and best practices for efficient water management.
