The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing irrigation systems for commercial properties while ensuring efficient water usage and optimal system performance. We are looking for candidates with strong experience in commercial irrigation systems, including 2-wire systems , diagnostics, and controller programming. Key ResponsibilitiesIrrigation Maintenance Perform regular maintenance on commercial irrigation systems to ensure proper operation and water conservation Clean, adjust, and repair sprinkler heads, valves, drip systems, and related components Conduct seasonal system adjustments and performance checks Troubleshooting & Repairs Diagnose and repair irrigation system issues, including: Leaks and pipe breaks Damaged sprinkler heads and valves Electrical and controller issues Wiring and communication problems 2-wire system troubleshooting and repairs Test and verify proper system operation after repairs Water Management Program and adjust irrigation controllers and schedules Promote water efficiency and prevent overwatering Ensure systems comply with local water conservation practices Inspections & Audits Conduct routine wet checks and irrigation audits Identify system deficiencies and recommend upgrades or improvements Evaluate overall system performance and coverage Customer Service & Communication Communicate professionally with clients regarding system operations, repairs, and maintenance schedules Address customer questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner Record Keeping Maintain accurate records of: Repairs and maintenance performed System inspections and audits Service recommendations Equipment and materials used Safety & Teamwork Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards Operate tools, equipment, and company vehicles safely Collaborate with landscaping crews to support overall site quality and appearance Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Irrigation or landscaping certification preferred Minimum of 3 years of commercial irrigation experience Strong knowledge of: 2-wire irrigation systems Irrigation controllers Sprinklers and valves Drip irrigation systems Electrical troubleshooting Water management practices Experience with commercial irrigation brands such as: Rain Bird Hunter Toro Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system manuals Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of local water conservation regulations is a plus Valid driver's license with clean driving record required Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Work performed primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions Frequent bending, lifting, digging, and manual labor required Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for emergencies or special projects Benefits Paid time off Paid holidays Bonus opportunities Health allowance Schedule Monday through Friday Up to 10-hour shifts Weekends as needed Pay Competitive pay based on experience If you are ready to grow your career with a company that values quality workmanship, professionalism, and teamwork, we encourage you to apply today and join our team.
