Responsibilities Assist with planting, transplanting, pruning, and harvesting cannabis plants to promote healthy growth and maximize yield Monitor environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and light levels to ensure optimal plant development Support irrigation processes by setting up and maintaining watering systems, ensuring plants receive proper hydration Use hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and effectively for tasks like trimming, staking, and cleaning grow areas Identify plant health issues including pests, diseases, or deficiencies, and report findings for prompt action Maintain cleanliness of grow areas, including greenhouse spaces and outdoor cultivation sites, adhering to safety standards Help with heavy lifting of supplies or plants as needed to support daily operations Qualifications Growing experience or horticulture background preferred; familiarity with greenhouse or outdoor cultivation is a plus Knowledge of irrigation systems, land management, or farming practices beneficial for success in this role Mechanical knowledge or experience with hand tools essential for plant maintenance tasks Ability to identify different plant species and recognize signs of plant health issues through plant identification skills Basic math skills necessary for measurements, data recording, and adjusting environmental controls Physically capable of heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions Enthusiastic about gardening, landscaping, agriculture, or lawn care with a desire to learn more about cannabis cultivation This position is paid and offers a fantastic entry point into the world of cannabis horticulture.
