Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Post Harvest Associate, Trimmer and become a vital part of the agricultural process! In this role, you will be responsible for carefully trimming, processing, and preparing harvested plants to ensure top-quality products reach consumers. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help maintain high standards of quality and efficiency throughout the post-harvest phase. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment while developing hands-on skills in horticulture, plant identification, and equipment operation. Duties Trim, prune, and process harvested plants with precision using hand tools and mechanical equipment Inspect plants for quality, maturity, and health, ensuring only the best products move forward in the supply chain Assist with plant sorting, cleaning, and packaging to meet quality standards and safety regulations Operate basic farming tools and machinery safely and efficiently during post-harvest activities Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times Support the overall harvest process by handling heavy lifting tasks and outdoor work in various weather conditions Record detailed data related to plant weights, trimming progress, and quality assessments using basic math skills Experience Prior experience in horticulture, greenhouse work, or farming environments is highly desirable Familiarity with irrigation systems, landscaping, or lawn care techniques is a plus Hands-on knowledge of plant identification and general gardening practices enhances your effectiveness in this role Mechanical knowledge or experience operating hand tools and small machinery is beneficial Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in varying weather conditions is essential Strong attention to detail combined with good communication skills ensures accuracy in record keeping and teamwork Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for agriculture meets energetic teamwork!
