Job Title:
Irrigation Technician Job Overview:
The Irrigation Technician at Pelor Outdoor Landscape Solutions is responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of irrigation systems. This role ensures that all irrigation systems are operating efficiently and effectively to support healthy landscapes for our clients. The Irrigation Technician will perform both residential and commercial irrigation work, always adhering to company safety standards and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Install new irrigation systems, including trenching, piping, and head installation. Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems, including valves, pipes, controllers, timers, and pumps. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on irrigation systems. Adjust irrigation systems for seasonal changes and water conservation. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and system settings. Program irrigation controllers and set watering schedules. Identify and report any irrigation-related concerns or necessary upgrades. Operate trenchers, pipe pullers, and other specialized equipment safely. Maintain clean and organized job sites. Assist in training crew members on irrigation best practices. Respond to customer service calls and address concerns in a professional manner. Follow all company safety procedures and protocols.

Efficient and properly functioning irrigation systems for all clients. Minimized water waste through effective system management. Timely response to service calls and repairs. Accurate and detailed documentation of all work performed. Positive feedback from customers regarding irrigation services. Compliance with all safety standards and protocols. Requirements (Expected Proficiencies) High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years experience in irrigation installation and repair preferred. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Ability to operate trenchers, pipe pullers, and other irrigation tools. Knowledge of irrigation systems, controllers, valves, pumps, and water conservation practices. Ability to lift 60 lbs and work in various weather conditions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
