The ideal candidate will have a strong background in irrigation systems, and general maintenance. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various hand and power tools. Responsibilities Install and maintain irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip lines, and pumps. Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system issues to ensure proper functionality. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify potential problems or inefficiencies. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall landscaping plans. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and maintenance tasks. Operate excavators and other machinery as needed for installation projects. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs made and materials used. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries regarding irrigation systems. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in irrigation systems preferred. Familiarity with lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques. Experience in landscaping or horticulture is a plus. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
