Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Irrigation Technician specializing in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems for residential and commercial landscapes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with various irrigation systems, and committed to delivering top-tier service. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair all types of irrigation systems both two wire and conventional Perform scheduled irrigation checks and system audits Replace, adjust, and install controllers, valves, heads, drip lines, and other irrigation components Program and calibrate smart irrigation controllers (Rain Bird, Hunter, Toro, etc.) Detect leaks and other system issues efficiently and safely Communicate with clients and internal teams regarding service needs, repairs, and recommendations Maintain accurate service records and work orders via mobile apps or paperwork Assist with winterization and spring startup of irrigation systems Ensure compliance with local codes, and water conservation practices Provide exceptional customer service and always represent the company professionally Other duties as assigned Qualifications Perform troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of simple and moderately complex irrigation systems and assist with complex systems as needed Test complete irrigation systems for proper functioning of valves and timers Knowledge of irrigation systems Locate, excavate and repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning equipment Must be able to perform physical labor for prolonged periods of time in a wide range of climatic conditions including extremes of heat and cold Must have a current driver's license and clean driving record
