About Us AMASA Logistics Inc. is a fast-growing provider of dumpster rentals, site clean-up, landscaping, and outdoor services in Northern and Central Florida. We're committed to efficiency, professionalism, and delivering clean, presentable construction sites to our builder partners. With over $200,000 in equipment and a reputation for responsive service, we're looking to grow our team with skilled and reliable technicians. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Irrigation Technician to manage the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems across various residential and commercial job sites. This role is critical in ensuring our builder partners' landscapes remain healthy and functional. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who understands Florida's unique irrigation needs and takes pride in technical accuracy.
Key Responsibilities System Diagnostics:
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation zones, including valves, timers, and wiring.
Maintenance & Repair:
Perform "wet checks" to ensure proper coverage, replace broken heads, and repair PVC pipe leaks.
Controller Programming:
Set and adjust irrigation controllers/timers based on seasonal weather patterns and local water restrictions.
System Installation:
Assist in the layout and installation of new irrigation systems, ensuring they meet site blueprints and quality standards.
Quality Control:
Ensure all systems are fully operational and leak-free before handing off the site to the builder or client.
Inventory Management:
Maintain an organized service vehicle and report any material or equipment needs to the supervisor.
Safety & Professionalism:
Follow site safety rules, wear appropriate PPE at all times, and represent AMASA Logistics with integrity on every job site.
Qualifications Experience:
1-2 years of experience in irrigation repair or installation preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with major irrigation brands (Hunter, Rain Bird, etc.) and low-voltage electrical troubleshooting.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, dig trenches as needed, and work outdoors in varying Florida weather conditions. Attention to
Detail:
Ability to read site maps/blueprints and identify coverage gaps in various landscape layouts.
Reliability:
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a valid driver's license (clean driving record preferred). Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage , paid biweekly. Company-provided tools , safety equipment, and uniforms.
