Typical schedule will be Monday - Thursday 6A-4:30P with Friday -

Sunday OFF Responsibilities:

Follow a written plan detailing routine and project work to be performed. Attend safety training and follow all safety policies including proper use of PPE and safe operation of equipment. Receive feedback on completed work and received training as needed to address deficiencies. Work with landscapers to maintain health and appearance of landscaping with proper application of water. Inspect irrigation systems. Repair/replace all components of irrigation systems including heads, nozzles, lines, valves, etc. Manually turn on and off irrigation systems. Adjust watering schedules utilizing irrigation control systems. Respond to client and customer complaints. Perform assigned tasks for emergency preparedness and recovery efforts in the assigned areas. May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to address urgent matters. Perform other duties as assigned or necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

1-3 years of related experience inspecting and maintaining irrigation systems. Certifications in irrigation maintenance are a plus. Able to identify plants that are stressed resulting from too much or too little water. Able to read and write in English. Must be able to verbally communicate with supervisor and co-workers. Must have experience operating various types of commercial and residential irrigation control systems. Must be able to operate a computer, tablet, and smart phone. Able to operate online irrigation management systems. Able to complete forms and reports and conduct inspections using a computer, tablet, or phone. Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by the company's carrier. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, climb, and assist in safely lifting up to 50 pounds of material. Must be in good physical condition and able to work outdoors in all types of weather common in Central Florida including extreme heat and humidity.
