Responsibilities:

Assist with planting, watering, pruning, and fertilizing a variety of plants, shrubs, and trees to promote healthy growth Operate irrigation systems and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal watering schedules Use hand tools and mechanical equipment safely for planting, trimming, and soil preparation Identify different plant species and diagnose common issues such as pests or diseases to support plant health Support greenhouse operations by managing plant propagation, transplanting seedlings, and maintaining environment controls Perform heavy lifting of soil bags, plants, or equipment to support daily nursery tasks Maintain clean and organized work areas, including tool storage and planting zones

Requirements:

Growing experience or background in horticulture, agriculture, or landscaping is highly preferred Knowledge of irrigation systems, greenhouse management, lawn care, farming techniques, and land management practices Mechanical knowledge related to gardening tools and equipment operation Ability to identify various plants accurately and understand basic plant health needs Strong physical stamina for outdoor work involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Basic math skills for measuring soil amendments or adjusting irrigation schedules Enthusiasm for outdoor work with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in gardening and landscaping This role is paid and perfect for individuals passionate about nature, gardening, and outdoor environments.
