In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas. Your expertise will help promote healthy plant growth, conserve water resources, and support the overall aesthetic appeal of our clients' outdoor spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize your technical skills, and contribute to sustainable landscaping practices. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators when necessary. Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform timely repairs to prevent water waste. Adjust sprinkler heads and system settings to ensure even coverage and optimal watering schedules tailored to specific landscape needs. Perform general lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks to support healthy growth and aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces. Assist with landscaping projects by preparing sites, digging trenches, and installing new systems in accordance with project specifications. Maintain accurate records of system repairs, installations, and maintenance activities for reporting purposes. Follow safety protocols diligently while operating machinery like excavators or power tools during installation or repair tasks. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation systems or related equipment. Strong understanding of irrigation principles, lawn care practices, landscape maintenance, and general landscaping techniques. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators safely and efficiently. Familiarity with horticulture concepts and the ability to identify plant health issues related to watering practices. Prior experience in construction or outdoor maintenance environments is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing system issues and executing repairs.
