Cattle Feeder

Job Description Position Purpose:

Daily feeding of cattle. Key Responsibilities Figures load sizes and feeds cattle daily. Operates heavy machinery safely and responsibly, including but not limited to: feed trucks and wagons, tractors, and pay loaders. Unloads feed commodities. Assists with yard maintenance including, but not limited to: fencing, manure hauling, box scraping, bedding and snow removal. Assists Recipient Team with cattle sorting and processing as needed. Weekend and Holiday rotation as needed. Maintains a professional image reflective of Trans Ova's industry position. Follows Trans Ova's policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Education Requirements Minimum high school diploma or G.E.D. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to operate farm equipment. Working conditions are primarily an outdoor environment with extreme temperatures. Other Skills/experience Previous farm/heavy equipment experience required. Ability to work with numbers. Good communication and organizational skills.
