In person Compass Landscape Management is an established full-service landscape company serving primarily the Boise area. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Sprinkler Technician with a positive attitude to join our team for the 2026 season and beyond. Job Description Compass Landscape Management is hiring an experienced Sprinkler Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties throughout the Boise area. This type of work is rewarding, challenging, and labor intensive. Employees must have a heightened sense of awareness, be engaged, follow instructions, and be attentive. Starting wage depends on experience and ranges from $30.00 - $35.00 per hour DOE , with long-term opportunities available for the right candidate. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair sprinkler and irrigation systems Install and maintain valves, controllers, wiring, sprinkler heads, and drip systems Diagnose electrical and hydraulic irrigation issues Perform spring start-ups and winterization/blowouts Adjust sprinkler heads and zones for proper coverage and water efficiency Communicate professionally with customers and team members Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles Work independently and efficiently in the field Requirements for the Job 3-5 years of professional sprinkler/irrigation technician experience required Strong knowledge of irrigation controllers, valves, wiring, and system troubleshooting Ability to lift over 50 pounds Reliable transportation Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check Ability to follow instructions Good work ethic and enjoy working outdoors Safe and positive outlook Ability to work Monday-Friday, including in extreme weather conditions This is a physically demanding job.
