$19.00 $23.00 per hour (DOE) Position Overview The Yard Butler is seeking a reliable and motivated Irrigation Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial irrigation systems. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, manages time effectively, and is committed to delivering high-quality service that exceeds customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Perform sprinkler system start-ups and winterizationsInstall new irrigation systems (manual, semi-automatic, and automatic)Conduct backflow inspectionsDiagnose and troubleshoot irrigation system issuesComplete seasonal clock adjustments and system optimizationRepair system defects including:Lateral linesMain linesValvesPVBs and other components Maintain accurate job notes and ensure work is completed efficientlyKeep truck, tools, and inventory organized and cleanCommunicate professionally with customers and team membersAssist in training and supporting maintenance team members on irrigation processesSafely operate tools, equipment, and machinery required for each job Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of timeFrequent bending, crouching, and working in trenches or uneven terrainAbility to lift and move materials up to 75 lbs
