Our vertically integrated operation spans from genetics to consumer packaged goods, including meat, leather, oils, eggshells, feathers, and pet foods. Job Summary In search of a skilled laborer in any trade (carpentry, electrician, mechanics, plumbing, HVAC, etc) who can exhibit the skill-set of a "Jack of All Trades". We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running to be tasked with anything from building fences and structures, to fixing farm trucks and equipment, to pouring concrete and reading blueprints! No two days are alike, hoping to find someone skilled and interested in continuing to build on it and contribute to a great team, and a niche environment! Duties Assist with daily animal husbandry tasks, including feeding, watering, and caring for ostriches and other farm animals Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and farm equipment safely and efficiently Maintain and repair farm equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding, and basic mechanical skills Support irrigation systems setup and maintenance to ensure optimal water distribution Perform general farm maintenance including fencing repairs, equipment cleaning, and greenhouse building, framing, and upkeep, assisting with low-voltage wiring systems, etc. Supervise or collaborate with team members on large-scale farming projects to ensure smooth operations Qualifications Proven experience in a skilled trade Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and power tools safely Knowledge of farming practices including irrigation, horticulture, greenhouse management, and growing techniques (helpful, but not required) Welding skills or experience with farm machinery repair is a plus Physical ability for heavy lifting and performing manual labor throughout the day Basic math skills and tape reading ability for measurements and record keeping Familiarity with equine or large animal handling is advantageous Join us in a lively environment that values your expertise!

$24.00 - $29.00 per hour
