Treasure Valley, Idaho Artistree Landscaping is seeking a motivated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in protecting landscape health, maximizing water efficiency, and maintaining the high-quality standards our clients expect. About Artistree Landscaping At Artistree Landscaping, we specialize in commercial landscape maintenance, landscape design and installation, irrigation system installation & maintenance, and tree services throughout the Treasure Valley. Position Overview The Irrigation Technician is responsible for the installation, programming, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and residential irrigation systems. This position helps ensure healthy landscapes through proper water management while delivering quality workmanship and an excellent client experience. Irrigation Technicians are trusted field professionals responsible for accurate reporting, efficient operations, and maintaining the Artistree Standard of quality, professionalism, and craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate Artistree's Core Values and the Artistree Standard through daily work, conduct, and client interactions Install, inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial and residential irrigation systems and components Perform spring irrigation start-ups and fall winterizations Troubleshoot irrigation system performance issues, including two-wire systems Program irrigation controllers and ensure proper watering schedules to promote healthy landscapes and water conservation Create, update, and maintain irrigation maps and system documentation Follow all established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safety Standards Learn, utilize, and properly document work using company software and systems Accurately track time, materials, job progress, and expenses using company software Manage job-related expenses responsibly and submit required documentation Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients as needed Ensure proper use, care, and basic maintenance of irrigation equipment and tools Assist landscape maintenance, enhancement, installation, or other Artistree divisions as operational needs require Support snow removal operations during winter months when needed Qualifications Valid driver's license required Minimum 2+ years of irrigation installation, maintenance, or repair experience required Working knowledge of irrigation systems, controllers, valves, wiring, and related components Experience troubleshooting irrigation systems and diagnosing performance issues (2-wire experience preferred) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Ability to work independently while following company systems and standards Strong communication and customer service skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus but not required Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout all seasons Ability to safely operate hand tools, power equipment, and irrigation-related equipment What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience ($24
