Job Description
Steers Farms is seeking a qualified full-time candidate(s) to join our team. Steers Farms is a corn-soybean operation located in northern Piatt County, Illinois. A 6th generation family farm, we grow corn, soybeans, and seed-corn. We also custom spray and machine detassel during the summer months. Expected duties but not limited to: Primary equipment operator. Shop and maintenance work as needed. Assist in preparation of equipment for field use and storage. Assist in grain handling, storage, drying and conditioning. Hauling grain to market Mixing and transporting farm chemicals Sprayer operation or the willingness to learn. General farm and lot maintenance.
