Fertigation Technician

Job Description:

This position is focused on monitoring, maintaining, and operating the fertigation system and any tasks related to it. Experience in cannabis nutrition and irrigation is required. When tasks related to Fertigation are complete, you will join the cultivation team for day-to-day cultivation work. Cultivators handle all tasks related to cultivation, drying, curing, and processing cannabis under the guidance of the Director of Cultivation. Must maintain strict record keeping complying with state regulations. Must maintain strict adherence to company SOPs. Requires physical stamina, being able to lift 20-50 pounds repeatedly, and being able to stand for long periods of time. Must pass a background check and will need to be fingerprinted to comply with state regulations. Must be passionate about cannabis with an emphasis on the highest quality possible. Responsibilities Prepare precise nutrient solutions (fertilizers, additives, pH buffers) tailored to each growth stage—vegetative, flowering, etc. using our system. Set up, monitor, and maintain fertigation systems (drip lines, pumps, reservoirs, dosing equipment). Track plant health and respond to feeding schedules and make nutrient formula adjustment recommendations as needed. Test and adjust pH and EC to ensure optimal nutrient uptake. Clean tanks, flush lines, prevent clogs, maintain filters, and troubleshoot equipment issues. Record feeding schedules, nutrient recipes, and plant performance metrics for consistency and compliance. Preferred Technical Skills & Knowledge Understanding of plant nutrition (macronutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and micronutrients) Familiarity with hydroponic or soil-based irrigation systems Ability to read and calibrate EC/pH meters Basic knowledge of automation systems (timers, sensors, fertigation controllers) Background in horticulture, agriculture, or plant science Experience with hydroponics or irrigation systems Attention to detail and ability to follow precise recipes Familiarity with cannabis compliance laws Ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy

Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
