Job Duties:
Duties may include: Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers. Spread fertilizer or pesticide solutions using GPS-enabled agricultural equipment. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors and selfpropelled application equipment. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels. Operate towed machines to fertilize and spray crops. Weigh crop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifying information. Drive pick-up trucks to haul crops, supplies, or tools. Guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines, and to discard diseased or rotten products. Position boxes or attach bags at discharge ends of machinery to catch products, removing and closing full containers. Follow the maintenance schedule of the facility and equipment. Maintain service records of each piece of equipment and vehicle(s) to document the quality maintenance program and meet DOT requirements. Responsible for housekeeping of the shop and general maintenance of shop and equipment. Stock, move, and organize crop protection and/or crop nutrient products, bulk crop input products (liquid/dry) and materials. Assist with repair and servicing of grain storage and handling equipment, buildings. Maintain the facility and equipment image & other related Agricultural Equipment Operator activities as per

Must be 18 due to insurance. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 100lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. Based on Employer's discretion/cost: Worker may have random drug/alcohol testing during employment: positive test/refusal to abide = dismissal. Variable weather conditions may apply.
