Grain Elevator Superintendent Salary Range:
$22-$24 per hour About the
Role:
We are seeking aGrain Elevator Superintendentto oversee the day-to-day activities at the bean side of our Milmine facility. This hands-on role is critical to ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality grain handling operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee grain receiving, shipping, handling, conditioning, and grading Ensure accurate inventory tracking and grain quality control Prepare for and manage rail loading operations Operate and help maintain grain elevator equipment Perform preventative maintenance and minor equipment repairs Uphold and enforce safety and housekeeping standards
Requirements:
Previous experience in grain elevator or agricultural facility operations preferred, but not required Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Comfortable working at heights (4ft - 25ft) and climbing ladders daily Ability to direct others and communicate effectively Commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork Must be able to work with or without reasonable accommodation
