This role is hands‑on and ideal for someone who enjoys working outside, handling plants, and helping customers find what they need. Key Responsibilities Maintain perennial yard appearance (watering, spacing, clean‑up, organization) Assist customers with plant selection, availability, and loading Unload, stage, and move plant material as needed Label, price, and stock product accurately Monitor plant quality and report issues Support general sales yard operations during peak periods Work collaboratively with greenhouse and sales staff Qualifications Interest in plants, gardening, or horticulture (experience preferred, not required) Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented Strong customer service mindset Willingness to learn plant varieties and basic care needs Forklift experience a plus (not required) Schedule Daytime shifts, including some Saturdays Flexible scheduling available during peak season Why Work at Schaefer Greenhouses?
