About Us Gardens of Arcadia is a specialty rose farm located in Arcadia, Indiana, dedicated to producing premium garden roses for florists and wholesale customers. We are passionate about growing exceptional roses and are building a team of people who share that passion. We're looking for an experienced Rose Grower to help lead the health and production of our rose crops. This is an opportunity to become a key part of a growing company and help shape the future of our farm. Responsibilities Monitor the overall health and development of rose crops. Identify pests, diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and other plant health issues. Develop and recommend effective treatment and prevention programs. Oversee irrigation, fertilization, pruning, and other cultural practices. Monitor environmental conditions affecting crop performance. Recommend improvements to growing practices and production efficiency. Work closely with the farm team to ensure proper execution of daily growing tasks. Help develop and implement standard operating procedures for rose production. Monitor plant performance and proactively identify potential problems before they become significant issues. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience growing roses or ornamental crops. Strong knowledge of rose diseases, pests, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM). Experience with fertilizers, irrigation systems, and crop nutrition. Ability to accurately diagnose plant health issues and recommend effective solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications Experience with commercial cut flower production. Experience working on a commercial rose farm. Knowledge of greenhouse production and environmental management.
