Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering efficiency across diverse landscapes Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components, including valves, pipes, controllers, and sprinklers, to identify issues early Perform general lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration to maintain healthy turf and plantings Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment like excavators for system installation, repairs, and landscape enhancements Assist with landscape maintenance projects including planting, pruning, mulching, and soil preparation to support overall site health Follow safety protocols during all construction activities involving landscaping or irrigation equipment Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system modifications for ongoing service tracking Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems efficiently Experience with landscaping techniques including lawn care and general landscape maintenance Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators for installation and repairs Knowledge of horticulture principles to support healthy plant growth and landscape design Familiarity with irrigation systems, controllers, valves, pumps, and sprinkler heads Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints related to landscape construction projects Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks This position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about outdoor environments who thrive in active roles that combine technical expertise with hands-on work.
