Farm Worker

Job requires the operation of tractors, loaders, combines, sprayers, and other farm equipment to till soil, plant, cultivate, irrigate, fertilize, and harvest crops; performing mechanical repair and maintenance; and tending to livestock in the forms of handling, feeding, examining, branding or tagging, assisting with treatment for illness, and herding the livestock. Non CDL farm trucks will be loaded with agricultural products and driven on the farm and to storage facilities. Manual labor duties will include cleaning livestock pens, erecting and fixing fencing, fixing equipment, cleaning water tanks, feeding livestock, and cleaning and maintaining work facilities. Basic literacy and math skills along with 6 months of experience are required. Applicants must have or be able to obtain a driver's license. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer. Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
