Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as an Agronomy Operations team member. This hands-on role supports the day-to-day operations of our agronomy department, including handling, blending, and delivering crop inputs such as fertilizer, seed, and crop protection products. You will play a key role in ensuring timely, accurate, and safe service to our grower customers during critical crop production seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with receiving, handling, mixing, and loading bulk and packaged crop inputs (fertilizer, seed, chemical). Operate tender trucks, sprayer support equipment, forklifts, and other agronomy equipment. Safely deliver products to customers or custom application crews in a timely manner. Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces including chemical and fertilizer storage areas. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities. Calibrate, load, and clean equipment to ensure accurate and efficient application or delivery. Assist with inventory control and documentation of product movement. Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures. Support other departments or perform additional duties as assigned, especially during peak season.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license ( CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements preferred or willingness to obtain ). Ability to pass drug screening and background check. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment. Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and work in dusty, outdoor, or agricultural environments. Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Flexible and able to work long hours during spring and fall busy seasons.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in agronomy, farm operations, or ag retail preferred. Familiarity with crop inputs, application equipment, or precision ag technology. Commercial Applicator's License (or willingness to obtain). Forklift operation and basic equipment maintenance skills.
