Seasonal Cannabis Trimmer -
Experienced Applicants Preferred Best State LLC Location:
Stanford, KY Pay:
$20.00/hour + $80 per pound trimmed
Duration:
Approximately 2 weeks (Mid-to-Late June 2026) Best State LLC is seeking experienced cannabis trimmers to assist with our first harvest. This is a short-term seasonal opportunity for individuals who have worked in commercial cannabis cultivation and understand the quality standards required for premium flower production. Applicants with prior experience in mature cannabis markets, such as California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, or other established cannabis states, are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Hand trim harvested cannabis flower to company quality standards Maintain consistency, speed, and attention to detail Handle cannabis products carefully to preserve appearance and potency Follow all company policies, sanitation protocols, and compliance requirements Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications Previous cannabis trimming experience required Experience with commercial-scale harvests preferred Knowledge of premium flower quality standards Ability to maintain productivity while producing high-quality work Reliable transportation and attendance Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand movements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed Must be at least 21 years of age Additional Requirements Must successfully pass state and federal background checks prior to employment. Must be eligible to work in the regulated medical cannabis industry in Kentucky. Must comply with all applicable state regulations and company policies regarding cannabis operations. Compensation $20.00 per hour $80 per pound trimmed Opportunity for high performers to earn substantial additional compensation during the harvest period About the Opportunity This is a unique opportunity to be part of Kentucky's emerging medical cannabis industry and contribute to Best State LLC's inaugural harvest.
