• Trimmer/Packager Native Sun Cannabis is a vertically integrated Massachusetts cannabis company based in Waltham, MA.

We are searching for a trimmer/packager, with a focus on attention to detail, to join our team in Fitchburg MA. This is a flexible position involved in a key segment of our business; responsible for all tasks within trim and packaging while supporting the organization's core mission working as part of a team to meet the strategic objectives of the business. The ideal candidate for this position will be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, foster a positive working environment and company culture, who likes to accomplish defined goals, and is passionate about working with cannabis. Position Overview The Production Technician, reporting to the Production Manager, is responsible for executing and maintaining all daily operations of the Production Department to achieve the company initiatives. Additionally, the Production Technician maintains the policies and procedures of the company and ensures compliance with all state and local laws and regulations.

Major Areas of Responsibility include:

Dry, cure and trim cannabis plants to prepare for packaging. Trim and package finished cannabis products in accordance with company SOP's and state regulations. Waste disposal and destruction of plant waste or products. Use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain tools in accordance with sanitation standards and in acceptable condition for best practices with the products. Any other duties as assigned by the management team. Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities): Production facility experience (cannabis preferred) Ability to maintain a strong work ethic while performing repetitive tasks. Experience operating machinery or being mechanically inclined is a plus. Great organizational skills, communication, and growth-mindset Cannabis post-harvest experience is a plus. Ability to remain grounded in a startup work environment. Familiarity with warehouse procedures a plus Computer, mathematics, language, and reasoning skills Basic weights and measurement skills, ability to operate a scale. Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks. Strong interpersonal skills including listening, and communication. Ability to take direction, comprehend, and complete tasks as assigned in a timely manner. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships in order to gain support and achieve results both internally and externally. Ability to exercise sound judgment and problem solving. Ability to organize and prioritize work. Works to achieve organizational goals, with the ability to adjust to an ever evolving industry. At least 21 years of age. Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
