Horticulture volunteers will help plant, weed, water and maintain the various gardens at the Willard House & Clock Museum. Be involved in the creation of the pollinator garden. Enjoy learning the basics and some advanced techniques with skills transferable to your own garden. For gardeners of all experience levels. Please bring garden gloves, sunscreen, sturdy footwear and a refillable water bottle. Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to the following) Work with staff to assess gardening needs Learn what invasive plants are and help control them in the pollinator garden Weeding, deadheading, pruning and planting Seasonal garden tasks such as raking and mulchingQualifications:
