Cannabis Cultivation Technician

Ahava is a indoor cannabis cultivation facility in Holyoke, MA. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking person for a full time position to help care for our plants and keep our grow rooms spotless. This is an entry-level, hands-on physical labor role. We are looking for candidates who possess a strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and arrive on time every day. Key Responsibilities Defoliating & Pruning:

Cut away excess fan leaves on live plants to improve airflow and light penetration.

Moving Plants:

Safely lift and move pots, trays, and plants between different growth rooms.

Harvesting:

Help chop, hang, and prepare whole plants during harvest cycles.

Trimming Buds:

Hand-trim harvested flower to remove sugar leaves and prepare buds for final packaging.

Cleaning & Sanitizing:

Scrub, wash, and sweep grow rooms, rolling benches, pots, and trimming tools to keep the facility immaculate. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for up to 8 hours a day. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods while performing tedious hand-trimming. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Must be comfortable working around bright lights and in warm, humid environment conditions. Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older Must pass a state background check (CORI) to get a Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) Agent Card Must have reliable transportation to our Holyoke facility

Compensation & Schedule Pay Rate:

$15.00•$20.00 per hour (starting rate depends entirely on your prior cannabis or agricultural experience)

9:00 AM•6:00 PM (Monday•Friday)
