The role ensures that all machinery-related tasks are performed safely, accurately, and on schedule to support the overall productivity and success of the farming operations. Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed. Applicants must have the following as per employer's requirement: At least 3 years of relevant work experience OR, Level 4 Qualification Applicants must be physically fit. Applicants must pass pre-employment drug test. Applicants must provide a CV. Valid driver's license

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Machinery Operation:

Operate various types of agricultural machinery, including but not limited to tractors, harvesters, sprayers, seeders, and balers. Ensure machinery is used efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company policies. 2.

Maintenance and Repair:

Perform routine maintenance checks and basic repairs to ensure machinery is in good working condition. Report any major mechanical issues to the supervisor and arrange for professional repairs as needed. Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities. 3.

Health and Safety:

Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Participate in health and safety training sessions and contribute to a culture of safety on the farm. 4.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with farm managers, agronomists, and other team members to coordinate tasks and achieve operational goals. Communicate effectively regarding the status of machinery, field conditions, and any issues encountered. Provide feedback and suggestions for improving efficiency and productivity. 5.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of machinery usage, fuel consumption, and field activities. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible for management review.
