Cannabis Cultivator

Position Summary This position will work closely with the other Cultivation members and Management to properly maintain the live Cannabis stock. This description applies to the Cultivation roles of Deleafer, Specialist, Sprayer, Irrigation Technician and Nursery associate. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: De-leaf plants to company expectations Prepare nutrients and water Cleaning/ maintenance Transplant clones or 4x4 Moving plants as directed Cutting trellis Ability to safely use tools and other equipment Manually water using buckets Must maintain a safe and clean working environment Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining efficiency and consistency Demonstrate attention to detail and thoroughness to improve and promote quality product Performing other duties as assigned Comply with policies and directives as set forth in the Employee Handbook, and as outlined by Management, Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Must be at least 21 years of age Basic knowledge and familiarity with cannabis Experience in the cannabis industry preferred but not required Must be able to handle repetitive tasks Basic weight and measurement skills Strong attention to detail Strong communication skills Ability to work independently Must be able to maintain qualifications for Cannabis Control Commission licensing Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the functions of this job, an employee must walk, stand, or remain stationary during the entire shift. The employee is regularly exposed to strong cannabis odors and frequently required to handle cannabis products. Employees must be able to continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe with the potential for slipping or tripping. This may include repetitive tasks. Employees may experience frequent exposure to bright lights, elevated room temperatures and humidity (Up to 85 degrees and 70% humidity). Employees must frequently wash their hands and lift or move up to 30 pounds, unassisted and up to 50 pounds assisted by team members and/or equipment. Employees must frequently use cleaning supplies, bleach and alcohol. Employees may be required to work at heights up to 10 feet, on scaffolding and/or ladders. Ability to use proper PPE when preparing nutrients and additives for plants. Pay:

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
