Cannabis Trimmer/Packager Position Summary:
Premium cannabis cultivator seeking experienced trim and packaging staff for licensed Adult Use/Recreational cultivation facility. This is a fast paced position-it is essential for potential candidates to thrive working with a sense of urgency and have a positive attitude. This position is located in Brunswick, Maine.Essential Functions:
Breakdown flowers off of stem and stalk of plant in order to separate unusable waste from useable product Track the amount of unusable waste for each plant/batch. Trim cannabis to meet company aesthetics, producing the highest quality product efficiently. After breakdown of plant, employee must identify and separate fan leaves, stems and sugar leaves on the flower. exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking and communication skills. Must be able to work well independently, as well as with others. Employee must be able to adapt to various strains Time management; employee must manage their time during work efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing the highest quality product. Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines, shower prior to shift, wear supplied PPE and coveralls at all time supplied by employer. Trim staff is responsible for clean-up, disinfection of all processing areas and equipment at the end of every day. This also include light janitorial tasks. Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and sterility of workspace at all times.EMPLOYEE MUST TRIM AT LEAST 2 POUNDS/908 GRAMS OF FINISHED PRODUCT IN AN 8 HOUR PERIOD.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to be flexible and work in various areas of the company as needed an/or requested by their direct supervisor; this may include but is not limited to, helping grow staff with harvests, small tasks, cleaning and/or moving supplies and equipment Professional cannabis trimming and packaging experience required Punctuality is non negotiable. Help create a proactive and positive environment; a positive attitude and self-motivation to help produce High quality manicured product, while meeting and/or exceeding personal and/or company goals. Employee must be able to identify various problems with any strain/product, be able to communicate with direct supervisors as necessary. Time management; employee must manage their time during work efficiently All employees required to work in packaging of cannabis flower, vape cartridges, pre-rolls, concentratesJob Specifications:
Trim staff must understand and implement the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the company. Trim staff must have a basic understanding of Cannabis laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state and Maine OCP- Ability to listen well and communicate effectively
- Ability to perform a monotonous task with great efficiency over 8-hour work periods without losing quality.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must pass extensive background checks
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
- Must have or acquire an IIC card
Minimum Education and Experience:
- High School Education or GED graduate; some college or college graduate preferred.
DRY TRIMMING/PROCESSING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
