Job Description
If you are a self-motivated individual looking to get the job done, we have a place for you. This position will be working 5 - 8 hour shifts from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. We are looking for a results driven individual to help us in our grow operation. This position will report to the Lead Grower who has been working with the company for 8+ years. The successful candidate will be able to work in a highly-regulated environment, complete tasks start to finish, and will be reliable for all shifts/work load. Responsibilities include, but not limited to... Assist in the planting, trimming, watering, feeding, and monitoring of cannabis plants at various growth stages. Perform regular pruning and training of plants to promote healthy growth and maximize yields. Assist in the harvesting of mature plants, including cutting, drying, and preparing for packaging. Identify and report pests, diseases, or any other issues with plant health, and assist in the implementation of treatment measures. Maintain detailed records of plant growth, environmental conditions, and other relevant data to ensure traceability and state compliance measures. Regularly clean and sanitize workspaces, tools, and equipment to prevent contamination and maintain a sterile environment. Follow all safety protocols, including the proper handling of chemicals, tools, and equipment, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Follow all directions as provided by the Lead Grower and work effectively with team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly cultivation goals. Be a shining example of good behavior and high performance. Qualifications At least 21 years old. Maine resident with current valid Maine ID. Must be able to pass the background check. Basic knowledge of cannabis. Detail-oriented and able to handle high-volume, fast-paced environment. Reliable transportation is a must. The ability to perform tasks that involve bending, heavy lifting (up to 50lbs), repetitive motion, prolonged standing, walking and kneeling.
