Cultivation Technician

Job Summary Plant Nerd is a dedicated team of plant enthusiasts committed to high-quality cultivation practices. We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as an entry level Cultivation Technician. This individual will need to have Monday through Friday availability from 8am to 4:30pm and be open to working an early shift on harvest every Wednesday from 6am to 2:30pm. If you have issues with attendance, schedule commitment , or can not reliably get to work every single day please do not apply. Duties Assist with planting, transplanting, and pruning plants to promote vigorous growth Identify plant pests, diseases, and deficiencies early to implement effective treatment solutions Use hand tools and mechanical equipment safely for tasks such as pruning, harvesting, and cleaning. Support the setup and maintenance of growing media, containers, and cultivation infrastructure Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of grow areas to uphold health standards and prevent contamination Requirements Prior experience in horticulture, gardening, farming, or landscaping is highly preferred Knowledge of irrigation systems and greenhouse operations is a strong plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding outdoor work regularly, must be able to lift 50lbs regularly. Familiarity with plant identification and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Mechanical knowledge of hand tools and gardening equipment is advantageous Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in sustainable cultivation techniques while contributing to a vibrant team committed to excellence.
