Job Description

Post-Harvest Technician (Part-Time, Seasonal) The Post-Harvest Technician is responsible for supporting daily post-harvest operations including harvesting plants, bucking flower from stalks, trimming and processing cannabis, and preparing product for the next stages of production. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work efficiently in a pivoting environment while maintaining compliance with company procedures and state regulations. During downtime within post-harvest operations, this position will also assist the cultivation team with general labor tasks including defoliation, plant maintenance, and upkeep of outdoor grow areas and surrounding facilities. The ideal candidate is adaptable, dependable, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
Responsibilities:
Harvest cannabis plants according to company schedules Buck flower from harvested plants efficiently while maintaining product quality Trim and process cannabis flower to company quality standards Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of post-harvest work areas Support cultivation operations during downtime, including defoliation and plant maintenance Perform general outdoor field maintenance and labor tasks as needed Follow all compliance, safety, and sanitation procedures Maintain productivity and quality standards in a team-oriented environment Assist with additional operational tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be 21+ years old Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state cannabis licensing requirements Reliable transportation required Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback Positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to lift heavy objects safely and consistently Maintenance, landscaping, farm labor, construction, or general handy work experience preferred but not required Cannabis industry experience preferred but not required • The above requirements describe the general nature and level of work performed and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, or skills required.
Schedule:
Up to 32 hours per week with possibility of some rotating weekends Seasonal position running from late April through mid-November
