Propagation Lead

Duties Lead and coordinate all propagation activities, including seedlings, and cuttings Develop and implement propagation schedules to meet production goals and deadlines Monitor plant health through regular inspections, identifying pests, diseases, or deficiencies early Maintain accurate records of propagation processes, plant progress, and environmental conditions Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and agronmic systems Train and mentor team members on propagation techniques, safety protocols, and best practices Collaborate with horticulturists and growers to optimize growing conditions for various plant species Skills Extensive knowledge of irrigation systems and watering techniques for different plants Growing experience across horticulture, greenhouse environments, lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture Mechanical knowledge related to greenhouse equipment and hand tools usage Ability to identify a wide variety of plants accurately and efficiently Strong understanding of basic math for measurements, mixing soils or fertilizers, and data recording Physical ability for heavy lifting and outdoor work in varying weather conditions Passion for gardening, outdoor work, and sustainable plant cultivation practices

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
